{It’s the little things…} killion photography, keller senior, DFW senior pictures

I took Kylee to one of my new favorite locations.  I love shooting in these little back alleys and random places that no one ever goes.  It’s actually pretty ridiculous how excited I get when I find an interesting new alley with good light.  It’s like Christmas morning for me!  Kylee, I had lots of fun with you and your mom.  Thanks for letting me drag you all over the place!

I love this shot.  I actually had her stand behind a broken window to get it and love how it turned out!

I guess I never really thought about my image of the “California girl” until I met Olivia.  I’m sure you’ll agree that this tall, blonde beauty looks like she belongs surfing on a beach in CA!  Well, the funny thing is that she’s originally from there!  I wonder if I would look like this if I took an extended vacation there….   But really, I had TONS of fun with you Olivia.  We did all kinds of fun things on this shoot including a trip to our local ice cream parlor.  Mmmm….cotton candy is my favorite!

Okay yes, Justine is a beautiful girl which you can tell, but the reason I titled the post this, is because we got eaten by fire ants!  Doesn’t she look so peaceful in this first image?  She’s all relaxed, just holding onto her ankle for the pose, hah!  Not so much!  She’s actually holding her ankle because she just got bitten by an ant!  What a trooper, you can’t even tell, can you?!  Justine, I had fun with you and you are a beautiful girl!

The day was perfect.  Nice light, big, bright sun.  It was a perfect day for a sunset shoot.  That is until right before Caroline’s session.  The clouds rolled in about 20 minutes into our session and then the torrential downpour began.  So needless to say, we had a change of plans!  We decided to come back to my studio and I’m glad we did, because Caroline is so fun to photograph and the camera loves her!  We did get to go back out later that week and get a few more outdoor shots, so it wasn’t all a loss and we got some great images!  Thanks for being so flexible Caroline and I had so much fun with you and your mom!

Caroline LOVES shoes!!!

I had the most fun on this shoot!  Mia brought along some super fun props AND some of the best facial expressions I’ve seen!  She’s quite comfortable in front of the camera and we got an overload of fun images.  Here are a few of the many faces of Mia….
