Natalie is such a trooper! After having to re-schedule TWICE last week due to the torrential downpours we were having, we finally got to shoot on friday night. And wouldn’t you know that it doesn’t rain all day, but decides to start sprinkling on the way to the shoot! We battled the rain throughout the shoot, but Natalie managed to look spectacular despite the humidity and rain!
When Hayley drove up with practically her whole closet, I was thinking, oh no…how are we gonna have time to use all of this! She had so many cute dresses, shoes, and accessories. I love having choices, but it was so hard to pick just a few from the fabulous selection she toted to the shoot. We only got to about half, but I think we would have needed a whole other session for the rest!
This is the second shoot in like a month that got rained out right in the middle! Both days were nice and sunny until about an hour into our shoots. And the interesting thing is that I was in the same location for both of them! Hmmm… I was SO bummed that it got so dark and rainy during our shoot. Hayley was a wonderful model and I was having lots of fun. I WAS NOT ready to stop shooting yet! BUT, the great thing is that I got to re-schedule to finish up at a little sunflower field that I’ve been wanting to shoot at for awhile. So it ended up working out to be the perfect storm!

The fall is booking up quickly! September and October are fully booked and November only has 5 more sessions left! If you want to get your senior pictures done before Christmas, call soon. We will also start booking for spring sessions this month for those of you interested in those.

I don’t know how I get so lucky to work with the most wonderful seniors around, but somehow, I do. Paty and her mom are so fun to be around, (not to mention best friend Lauren who joined us on the shoot). And Paty was a beautiful model to work with! I love my senior girls!
Paty’s mom actually found this little rocking chair while we were off shooting somewhere else and asked if we could get a shot there. I ended up loving the light here…great job mom, need a part-time job? 
On-location photography is always an adventure! You just never know what’s gonna happen! So after a missing wardrobe and a major camera malfunction, we somehow managed to get through this shoot with some amazing images. Thanks for sticking with me Simer!
