So we had a few obstacles to overcome on Danielle’s shoot.  The main culprit occurred within the first 15 min.  when her keys accidentally got locked in the car (with all her clothes)!  Yikes!  Luckily we were able to call AAA and Big Al saved the day!  Thanks Al, we owe you big!  We lost quite a bit of shooting time and had to really rush to get finished, but amazingly enough, we got tons of adorable images.  Here are some of my favorites so far….

I have no idea why I am obsessed with black and white head shots…but I am!  Plus, this shot totally shows off Danielle’s fun personality!

You might recognize this beautiful girl.  I photographed their family a couple of years ago and then did her twin sister earlier this year.  So they’ve made several appearances on the blog!  Dad is a hobbyist photographer so they have lots of practice being in front of the camera.  It’s always a treat to photograph them.  I’ve gotten to know them pretty well and can truly say that they are wonderful people.  I love you guys and had fun with you Kat!  You are such a great model!

It was SO windy that day.  I had to have her hold her hair down to keep it from whipping all over her face.  I wasn’t sure we were gonna get anything here, but ended up loving this shot.

I love spunky girls!  Courtney was a little shy at first, but it wasn’t long before her true personality came bubbling out (thanks to a little prodding from mom).  We had a beautiful day to work with and amazing light.  I’m almost done with all her pictures, but wanted to share of few of my favorites so far!

I’ve actually really been enjoying all this cold weather lately.  Makes it feel more like Christmas!  But this weekend was another story.  Poor Evan was practically shaking throughout most of her shoot.  We would cover her in puffy coats in between shots for a little warm-up.  I was so worried that we would have to stop and wouldn’t be able to finish, but she stuck with it will the end and we ended up with some amazing images.  You’d never guess that she was freezing to death in most of these!

Well, it has been quite a fall this year!  I’ve had the chance to meet so many seniors and it’s been so fun getting to know each and every one of them.  I really do hate it when they come to pick up their pictures, because I feel like I’ll never see them again!  I have just a few more to finish up and then I’m taking a much needed break for the holidays.  I will be taking calls and e-mails, but won’t be shooting any in January.  If you’ve been meaning to call to book your senior session, call quickly.  February and March are quickly getting booked up!

Katy is another one of the seniors I just fell in love with.  Truly kind and so naturally beautiful.  Thanks so much for letting me be a part of your senior year Katy!
