So we had a few obstacles to overcome on Danielle’s shoot.  The main culprit occurred within the first 15 min.  when her keys accidentally got locked in the car (with all her clothes)!  Yikes!  Luckily we were able to call AAA and Big Al saved the day!  Thanks Al, we owe you big!  We lost quite a bit of shooting time and had to really rush to get finished, but amazingly enough, we got tons of adorable images.  Here are some of my favorites so far….

I have no idea why I am obsessed with black and white head shots…but I am!  Plus, this shot totally shows off Danielle’s fun personality!

You might recognize this beautiful girl.  I photographed their family a couple of years ago and then did her twin sister earlier this year.  So they’ve made several appearances on the blog!  Dad is a hobbyist photographer so they have lots of practice being in front of the camera.  It’s always a treat to photograph them.  I’ve gotten to know them pretty well and can truly say that they are wonderful people.  I love you guys and had fun with you Kat!  You are such a great model!

It was SO windy that day.  I had to have her hold her hair down to keep it from whipping all over her face.  I wasn’t sure we were gonna get anything here, but ended up loving this shot.

I can’t even begin to tell you how much fun I had with Clancy!  She brought outfits from my favorite store Anthropolgie so I was in LOVE with all of them!  I got lost track of time while shooting because we were having so much fun!  I would have kept going all night if she would have let me!  Check out a few of my favs from the first 2 outfits I’ve edited.  I’m sure you’ll agree she should be a model….

When I first talked to Stephanie about her session, she warned me that she was not a back alley and old staircase kinda girl.  She informed me that city life with fancy dresses and bows was much more her style.  So we went to the city!  I love finding new locations, but they do make me nervous the first time I shoot there.  It takes time to find all the good nooks and secret places for great light at a new location.  We walked around and looked for good light together.  We had a lot of fun and I found some new places that I love.  Thanks for forcing me outside of my comfort zone Stephanie.  We go SO many cute ones!

I love spunky girls!  Courtney was a little shy at first, but it wasn’t long before her true personality came bubbling out (thanks to a little prodding from mom).  We had a beautiful day to work with and amazing light.  I’m almost done with all her pictures, but wanted to share of few of my favorites so far!
