{Peace, Love, and Sydney} killion photography, southlake senior, DFW Senior Pictures

This session with Sydney was so much fun!  Not only does she have great taste in clothes, but she brought so many fun accessories and props to her shoot.  If the sun hadn’t of gone down on us, I could have stayed and played all night with her.  Thanks for being such a wonderful model Sydney, I hope you love these as much as I do!

So my poor blog has been quite neglected lately.  You’re probably wondering if I’m even still around.  Well, yes I am….I think I am.  We have been house hunting and trying to sell our current house the past few months.  Trying to keep a clean house with a one year old = NOT FUN!  Anyways, thankfully it’s all over.  We sold our house and are moving in 2 weeks!  Yikes, we’ve got a lot of packing to do!  And my house is the messiest it’s ever been and I don’t care!  I’ll keep ya posted on the moving process.

In the mean time, I got to meet up with the coolest girl on Sunday.  Cortney is the owner of ketchthespirit.com, an on-line boutique specializing in totally fun and unique gameday wear from your favorite college.  She needed some pictures for her website and new business, and I was lucky enough to get to capture them!  It was a bit chilly, but she toughed it out and didn’t complain once.  We got so many great shots of her!  Thanks for a fun day Cortney!

Isn’t she gorgeous?!

This was the last shot of the day and one of my favorites!

Don’t wake me in the morning… {Killion Photography - Senior Pictures, Keller}

Staying up late is so deceiving.  It’s so fun while you’re doing it.  The house is all quiet and you can do whatever you want.  But then morning comes and you wake-up with an “I stayed up way too late hang-over”.  You know, you’re eyes are all heavy and black and you’re head feels like it’s going to explode any minute.  And the worst part is that you didn’t even do anything to deserve it! It’s not like I’m out partying at the dance club or having way too much wine while I edit pictures or dance around the house naked (I’m kidding…or am I?).  Anyways, it’s 2 in the am right now and I have GOT to go to bed!  Did you know that lack of sleep ages you faster?  Ughhh…I can feel the wrinkles gathering as I write!

As I age, I’ll leave you with a quick sneak peek for one of my seniors. She is my new hero as while we were shooting she spotted this amazing old vintage firetruck all hidden away. And to top it off, it was parked in good light with awesome greenery for bokeh (the blury background) in the background.  My heart just skipped a beat even thinking about it!

Super Model Senior! {Killion Photography - Senior Pictures, Euless}

I know I’ve been neglecting my blog lately.  I actually have tons of stuff I always have good intentions of blogging but somehow those good intentions get re-placed with editing sessions, or playing chase with Holden (which is hours of endless fun to him).  BUT…I am just fiinishing up this senior shoot of a girl I did a couple of weeks ago and couldn’t help but want to share her with you again.  We didn’t get much time during the first round so we scheduled another mini-session last week so we could finish.  She’s so gorgeous and we got some more fun ones I wanted to share with everyone!  And I promise I’ll be blogging more often this week! I have lots of cute sessions for you to check out!

Haha…I have to confess here!  We were in some funky light and I was taking a meter reading off of her cheek!  I loved the angle so much (and she has such a pretty face) that I had to get the shot! Have you ever seen more perfect eye make-up?!?!

{The Bug Catcher Part Deux} - {Killion Photography - Senior Pictures, Euless}

Okay, it’s late and I’ve been sitting here playing around in photoshop WAY too long!  I was having a lot of fun with processing tonight.  I got to do this Senior this weekend and had a blast!  She has the most beautiful face so I couldn’t resist doing some fun stuff with processing.  The perfect complexion, bright, blue eyes, and red lips.  So classically beautiful.  Her best friend (the senior post right before this) came along to help out.  If you remember her wild addiction to bugs before….well, it got even worse!  She brought a bug net and was leaping (literally) through the air, trying to catch bugs the whole time we shot.  She kept us cracking-up!
