{Boy Meets Cupcake}

So Holden and I decided to make some cupcakes for Halloween this week.  He was supposed to be taking a nap but refused to sleep, so I had to find some quick entertainment! He loves to cook with me.  His Mimi got him his own little spatula from Williams Sonoma (so cute!) so he helps to stir.  But his favorite is definitely cracking the eggs and tasting the batter (which I have to say is my favorite part also)!

Anyways, when the cupcakes were cooled down and ready to be iced, we started having lots of fun! I gave Holden his own cupcake to ice and a spoon to dip into the icing.  Needless to say, the icing skipped the cupcake and went straight into our mouth!  By the end, he actually developed himself a little system.  He would dip his spoon into the bowl of sprinkles, then into the icing, and finally, the mouth! This went on for quite awhile!  We went straight into the bath for clean-up and left a huge chocolate ring around the bath tub!  I don’t usually post this many pics on my blog but there where so many cute ones, that I just couldn’t resist!  Happy Halloween!

Welcome Home - {Killion Photography - Newborn Pictures, Keller}

Meet Mr. C.  He has the most hair I’ve had yet to see on a newborn. Not to mention the biggest eyes. And boy did he want to keep them open for the majority of the shoot.  He eventually passed out for about 20 minutes, but that’s all he gave us!  I usually try and do newborns no later than 10 days old so I can capture them all sleepy and curly.  This little guy was only a few days old but he still wanted to see what all the fuss was about. He definitely kept watch on me throughout the shoot!  We had him naked for the entire shoot and he only peed a few times. It was no big deal until he soaked big brother.  He was a little surprised to say the least!

We got some adorable pictures of your new family member and I hope you like them! I have them all in color too, but I can never resist the simplicity of a newborn in black and white!

Jeanna + Tim - {Killion Photography - Engagement Pictures}

Meet Jeanna and Tim.  What a crazy couple! I love these guys.  They are the kind of people you can just meet and then an hour later, feel like they’re your best friends.  I got to hang out with them in Dallas, and had so much fun. I love the way they interact with each other.  So patient and sweet.  I hope you guys enjoy your sneak peeks!

On another note…I’ve been really busy lately and when I’m overloaded with shoots (I did twice as many as usual last week), the blog is the first thing to go! So if your session never got blogged, so sorry!  Your pictures are coming soon and I promise they’ll be worth the wait!

The last thing I wanted to mention, is that I’m almost completely booked for the rest of the calendar year. I have 3 open sessions left that will probably get filled pretty fast.  So if you’ve been wanting to book a session, you better get moving!

Got Cute? - {Killion Photography - Senior Pictures, Keller}

I usually like to take some time to think and be witty for all you loyal blog readers out there, but I haven’t gone to bed before 1:00 any night this week and my brain is finally fried. So you’re just gonna have to settle for some pictures of a gorgeous senior who I had the most fun with!  The entire session was awesome!
